Platform Update

Just a quick post letting you all know that I’ve updated my UAS platform.

Hardware

I picked up new onboard USB recording media.  The SanDisk Cruzer Fit 32 GB USB Flash Drive SDCZ33-016G-B35.  This memory plug brings 32 GB of storage capacity at a weight of approximately 1.6 grams.  I’ve tested this USB plug and found it compatible with the Parrot 2.0.  My only complaint is that it might be too small!  I’m afraid I might lose it.

Also as a planned upgrade, I’ve ordered replacement Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Propellers to help stabilize flight.  I expect them to be installed mid-week.

That’s all for now.  Enjoy your flight time.
